How an Artist Paints His Life

My whole name is John Gabriel Aguimbag Aquino. My friends often call me by the names: Gab, and Gabi.🌚 I go with the pronouns he and him. I'm an artist, I excel at mediums like charcoal, graphite, and oil paint. I am artistic, soft and sensitive. I like to watch documentaries, draw hyper-realistic portraits, paint still-life paintings and create memes and post them on my social media. And I also post my artworks to inspire other artists to continue their passion for art. πŸ“πŸ“

In at 12 o'clock in the daytime on October 14th, 2005, my mother birthed me into this world. My name was derived from my grandfather's name, Juan, which is John in English, and Gabriel is obviously derived from the archangel. I am the only child of Mr. Michael Rafanan Aquino and Mrs. Delia Aguimbag Aquino. I had an interest in art at a young age. My older cousin would always bring coloring books to compete with me during my childhood. I joined DSPC in 4th grade and I got 2nd place in editorial cartooning. In 5th grade I got 6th in editorial cartooning. And I started representing my school in poster slogan contest, in 6th grade, I came in 1st place in scientific writing. And I also got 1st place in a poster slogan contest. In 7th grade, I studied at Ilocos Sur National High School, in high school. In high school, everything changed. I lost my interest in joining the contest. But I still represent my own section in art related contests just to skip classes. Not until the pandemic started and I started to polish my skills more and post my artworks on my social media just to see my improvements. I didn't notice that I was already inspiring other fellow artists that got art blocked.
Someone that always represents our school told me that I got potential to represent the school in joining art related contest. So I tried it. In 9th grade, I got 2nd runner up. Then he always offered me to teachers to join and I am currently joining a contest. I always wanted to be a successful architect someday. Almost every one of my paintings and drawings has reached a catastrophe. Either I messed up or I got tired of it. I always wanted to quit. Maybe you've struggled with that, too. And that's normal. Life has ups and downs, so keep your head on your shoulders and while you do, continue painting.
